Every runner has a story. A cause they actually care about. Mine is headspace, because they helped me get through my own toughest time. I'm running the full 24 hours, because people living with mental health struggles don't get a break from it. They live with it all day all night.

I am doing the Track4Change ultra for Chris O'Brien Lifehouse. About a year ago one of my close friends was diagnosed with osteosarcoma (cancer in the leg), he is fully recovered now and spent a lot of time in that lifehouse recovering. I also have my best friends step-father struggling from terminal cancer and only given a few weeks left to live. Both my parents work in cancer research, and I want to give back in my own way.

I’m aiming to run a total of 100 kilometres over 24 hours in support of White Ribbon Australia. I’ve never run an ultramarathon distance before, so this will be a huge personal challenge. I’m proud to take this on whilst supporting such an important cause.

I’m running in support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation, raising funds for a cause that’s very special to me. I’ve set a goal of reaching 50km which will be further than I’ve ever run before! It’s going to be a huge challenge, but one I’m incredibly excited and proud to take on.

I’m participating in Track4Change to support Cancer Council, with a goal of running 30km across 24 hours. This will be the furthest I’ve ever run! This will be a great challenge, but it’s all for such an important cause. Cancer is something that has touched my family, with my grandpa having experienced cancer, making this cause especially close to my heart.

Mental health is something I’m incredibly passionate about, and I believe no one should ever feel like they’re facing their struggles alone. I’m taking on Track4Change in support of the Black Dog Institute to raise awareness, contribute to mental health research and help create a world where everyone feels supported, connected and valued.

Hi, I'm Will and I am running for Cancer Council for the people who mean the most to me: my grandfather, my auntie, my cousin, and my girlfriend’s dad. Cancer has impacted the lives of people I care deeply about, and I want to do my part to make a difference. I’m running to honour them, raise awareness, support those affected by cancer, and help contribute to a future where fewer families have to experience its impact.

I’m taking part in Track 4 Change to raise money for Cancer Council. My goal is to push myself and run as far as I can. Cancer Council is doing amazing things and as someone who’s had people close to them affected by cancer, I’m really keen to raise a bit of money to support research into the many cancers affecting Australians.

I will be running 100km over 24 hours on the 14th and 15th of November with Track4Change to raise money for Dementia Research and support services for families requiring support for a loved one battling dementia. This is in memory of my beautiful grandma Janet who lived with dementia for a number of years. Any amount helps and is greatly appreciated.

I’m Nick, and I'll be running until my legs give out in support of the UNICEF, children of Gaza. The unfolding situation in Gaza is beyond catastrophic. Since October 2023, children have been killed, injured, and orphaned. On average, 28 children have been killed each day (the equivalent of an entire classroom every single day). I'm fortunate enough to get to run around an athletics track, rather than away from an airstrike. Please consider helping the cause.

I’m challenging myself to get active to support Cancer Council in their mission for a cancer free future. Because 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, I’m putting my body to the test to raise funds and show my support. Please sponsor me to support cancer research and provide vital services for Australians living with cancer.

I’ll be running for the Missed Foundation, with a goal of covering 50km over 24 hours. I’ll dedicate each 10km to a different reason people go missing, raising awareness of the complex circumstances behind missing persons cases. Through this challenge, I hope to challenge common misconceptions about missing persons and bring attention to the important work the Missed Foundation does to support the families, friends and communities of missing people.

Why this exists

We are raising money to help others.

Track4Change is a 24-hour run. Each person on the track is raising money for a charity they care about, so the funds can help other people.

The money does not come to us. You give to the charity on a runner’s card.
